President lauds IAF for keeping up with latest technology

Hyderabad, 17th June 2023: Indian President Draupadi Murmu assured that the Indian Air Force is taking initiatives to remain ever-ready and future-ready while keeping the whole security environment in mind, particularly the challenges of fighting a high-technology war in a network-centric future battlefield, mind.

In her address to the Combined Graduation Parade at the Air Force Academy in Hyderabad, she stated that quickly absorbing technology will be critical for defence preparedness on land, sea, and air.

According to the President, the country’s defence forces work together to secure land borders, expansive coastlines and territorial waterways, and vast air space.

“Every officer in the armed forces must keep an integrated perspective of defence preparedness in mind,” she stated.

She added that by modernising the Indian Air Force by introducing Rafale fighter aircraft and Chinook heavy-load choppers increases the IAF’s operational capabilities.
