New Delhi, 01/07/2023: The government authorities announced on Saturday that the Monsoon Session of Parliament will begin on July 20 and last until August 11, according to Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi.

Though it may begin at the old Parliament building, it is expected to move to the new Parliament building in the middle, according to sources at the Press Trust of India. It will be the first session in the new Parliament since its inception.

When he made the statement, he urged political parties to participate in meaningful debates during the session.

The session is anticipated to be tumultuous, with opposition parties banding together to present a united front against the Narendra Modi-led BJP in the Lok Sabha elections next year.

He stated that the session would last 23 days and include 17 sittings in another Hindi tweet.

During the session, the government is expected to introduce a bill to replace the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Ordinance.
