Samantha Ruth Prabhu Confirms taking Break from Work post completing Citadel

New Delhi, 13th July 2023: Samantha Ruth Prabhu has completed production on her next online series Citadel. She posted a snapshot from the final day of filming with director Raj and DK, along with a sweet remark. The actress also stated that she will be taking a sabbatical from work for a few months, writing, ‘break doesn’t seem like a bad thing’.

Samantha expressed gratitude to Raj and DK for never “giving up” on her and providing her the part of a “lifetime.” This is her second work with the filmmakers’ partnership, following The Family Man 2, in which she played Raji and received critical acclaim. She posted a smiling photo of herself posing with her director pair from the last day of the shoot on sets.

She wrote in the caption, “And it’s a wrap on #CitadelIndia A break doesn’t seem like a bad thing at all when you know what’s coming @rajanddk @mensit The family I didn’t know I needed. Thank you for helping me fight every single battle and never ever giving up on me.. I wish more than anything in the world to make you proud.. Thank you for the role of a lifetime.. i.e until you write me the next.”

She posted a selfie on Instagram on Thursday morning, writing that this day is very meaningful to her. “The 13th of July will always be a special special day. And it’s a wrap onc #CitadelIndia (sic).”
