Dr Anish Shah takes over as FICCI President for 2023-24

New Delhi, December 10, 2023: Dr. Anish Shah, the Group CEO of Mahindra Group and Managing Director of M&M, assumed the role of President for the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) for the term 2023-2024. The transition ceremony took place during FICCI’s 96th Annual Convention in New Delhi, where he succeeded Subhrakant Panda.

In addition to the change in presidency, Harsha Vardhan Agarwal, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Emami Limited, has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President within FICCI. Joining the FICCI leadership as Vice President is Anant Goenka, Vice Chairman of the RPG Group.

These developments were announced and celebrated at the apex Chamber’s annual convention, marking a significant shift in leadership roles within one of India’s premier business organizations. The newly appointed leaders bring a wealth of experience and expertise to their respective roles, and their tenure is anticipated to contribute to the continued growth and influence of FICCI in the coming year.
