Industry Body IESA to launch Bharat Battery Show at 2nd Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025

New Delhi; 29.08.2024: India is poised to become a key global player in EV battery manufacturing and advanced Energy Storage technologies. India’s prestigious goal of 500 GW of renewable energy installation by 2030 demands for a cutting-edge battery storage ecosystem. Supporting India’s vision of becoming global battery and energy storage manufacturing hub, India’s leading industry body India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) is organising Bharat Battery Show at the 2nd Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 lead by Ministry of Commerce and Industry is set to be held from 17th January to 22nd January 2025, across three major venues: Bharat Mandapam, Yashobhoomi (IICC) Dwarka, and India Expo Center & Mart, Greater Noida. This expo, building on the resounding success of its 2024 edition, promises to be India’s largest and most comprehensive event dedicated to the global mobility sector, showcasing the latest advancements in mobility solutions, with a special focus on sustainable and innovative technologies like advanced batteries, battery manufacturing, battery components, recycling & circular economy, charging infra, battery swapping, etc.

 

IESA, as a key industry partner, has been entrusted with the organization of the Battery Tech Pavilion, Recycling Pavilion, and Charging Infra Pavilion under the umbrella of Bharat Battery Show. Bharat Battery Show will the part of the Bharat Mobility and will be organised at the central Delhi venue Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from 19th to 21st January 2025. The Bharat Battery Show (an expo on batteries and charging) will feature cutting-edge technologies in battery storage, battery recycling, and charging infrastructure, reflecting IESA’s commitment to driving the adoption of clean energy and sustainable mobility solutions in India. IESA is expecting 200+ global players to showcase their cutting-edge battery and charging infra technologies during this event. Some of the key already confirmed companies include Amara Raja, Replus Engitech, Epsilon Advanced Materials, Advik Hitech, Amphenol FCI, Bry-Air (Asia), Elcom International, EMO Energy, HENN Indo Pacific, Maestrotech Systems, Neenjas Electric, Polyprotic Chemicals, Huge Hippo Energy, MNE components, Hioki, Glida, Ipower batteries, Molsynth and others.

 

Key Highlights of IESA’s Participation:

 

  1. Battery Tech Pavilion: A showcase of the latest advancements in energy storage solutions, featuring innovative battery technologies, from next-generation lithium-ion batteries to emerging alternatives such as solid-state and sodium ion batteries. It will also showcase battery manufacturing, supply chain, raw materials, battery components and Equipments etc.

 

  1. Recycling Pavilion: A dedicated space for exhibiting state-of-the-art recycling technologies, focusing on sustainable practices in battery and second life, circular economy, and highlighting India’s growing capabilities in this crucial sector.

 

  1. Charging Infra Pavilion: This pavilion will demonstrate the latest developments in EV charging infrastructure, including ultra-fast chargers, smart charging solutions, charging software and grid integration technologies that are set to revolutionize the EV landscape in India.

The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 is expected to attract over 1000 exhibitors and 5,00,000 visitors from more than 50 countries, with IESA’s pavilions serving as a central hub for discussions and showcases around energy storage and sustainability. The event will also feature sectoral sessions, business forums, and startup showcases, providing ample opportunities for knowledge sharing, networking, and exploring new business opportunities.
