Galgotias Alumni in Singapore Unite for Exclusive Meet, Celebrating Professional Success and Shared Journeys

Singapore, 11 September 2024: Galgotias University recently organized a grand alumni meet in Singapore, bringing together former students who have established successful careers in the city-state. The event was graced by several distinguished alumni, alongside Galgotias CEO Dhruv Galgotia and the Pro Chancellor. It served as a platform for alumni to reconnect, share their journeys, and celebrate their association with the institution.

The gathering witnessed a vibrant participation of alumni, many of whom spoke fondly about their time at Galgotias and how it shaped their professional journeys. Reflecting on the event, Rupali, a 2011-2015 batch alumna, expressed her delight, stating, “It has been a great pleasure attending this event. It’s an honor to see a community of Galgotias students here in Singapore.”

Neeta, who graduated in 2009, echoed similar sentiments, “I am thankful to Galgotias College. It’s a very reputed college. I wanted to thank the team for organizing this event.” Her gratitude was shared by Sonal Agarwal (2011 batch), who remarked, “I’m very thankful to Galgotias University. It’s an honor to be part of Galgotias. Because of the university, I’ve been working here for the last eight years.”

The event also highlighted Galgotias’ growing global presence, with Karishma (2011-2015 batch), currently pursuing studies at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), sharing her excitement. “It’s nice to meet all the Galgotias alumni working here. I’m studying at NTU, and it’s great to hear that Galgotias is forming a partnership with NTU. They’re transforming themselves to become like NTU.”

Rahul Jain, from the 2011 batch, took a trip down memory lane, saying, “I thank the university for organizing this event. It brings back a lot of memories.” Meanwhile, Manish Kumar, a supply chain consultant in Singapore, credited the institution for his professional growth. “Galgotias gave me exposure, and I thank them for organizing this event.”

Alumni from older batches also shared their thoughts. Rajat Gupta (2007 batch) reflected, “Galgotias has contributed a lot to my personality,” while Robin Gupta (2013 batch, Galgotias College, Computer Science) proudly said, “I’m proud of being a Galgotias Alumnus.”

The meet also saw the participation of recent graduates. Prakhar (2020 batch, Galgotias College) shared, “Galgotias has helped me achieve my career goals. I’m proud to be a Galgotian.” Deepika Agarwal (2013, Galgotias College) reminisced about her placement experience, saying, “Accenture was the first company where we landed, and Galgotias really helped us get the placement. That was the starting point for us.”

The event served as a testament to the strong bond between Galgotias and its alumni, underscoring the institution’s commitment to fostering a global network. As Galgotias continues to grow and expand its partnerships, the alumni meet in Singapore showcased how the university and college are shaping the lives of its graduates worldwide.
