Kapil Dev Celebrates Healthcare Innovations at FICCI’s 16th Annual Awards Ceremony during ‘HEAL 2024’
NEW DELHI, 06 November 2024: Legendary cricketer Mr Kapil Dev yesterday celebrated India’s healthcare community at the 16th FICCI Healthcare Excellence Awards, recognizing the efforts of healthcare professionals, institutions, and innovators who are shaping the nation’s healthcare landscape.
Mr Dev applauded the contributions of the healthcare industry, highlighting how vital the sector has become in recent years. He noted that the COVID-19 pandemic taught everyone an invaluable lesson on the importance of health and fitness, emphasizing that it has reshaped society’s view on wellness and resilience.
He further emphasized that these awards were not only a celebration of individual achievements but a tribute to the collective resilience of the sector. He applauded the honourees, recognizing their role not only in treating illness but also in inspiring people to prioritize their well-being.
Dr Harsh Mahajan, Chair, FICCI Health Services Committee emphasised the need to acknowledge and encourage innovation. He added that the FICCI Healthcare Excellence Awards, which recognise organisations and individuals for their exemplary contributions to the healthcare sector, can serve as motivation for healthcare sector to make remarkable progress in this direction.
Hony Brig Dr Arvind Lal, Chair, FICCI Swasth Bharat (Public Health) Task Force; Executive Chairman, Dr Lal PathLabs Ltd and Managing Trustee, ALVL Foundation also stressed the importance of recognising good work for progress.
FICCI organized ‘16th FICCI Healthcare Excellence Awards’ to felicitate organisations and individuals for their invaluable contributions to the healthcare space in different categories. The participants were evaluated on three criteria: Innovation, Impact and Sustainability and scalability, by a distinguished independent jury panel chaired by Mr C K Mishra.
