Dr. Manmohan Singh’s Mortal Remains to Be Taken to AICC HQ on 28th Dec for Final Tributes

New Delhi (27/12/2024): Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, a towering figure in Indian politics and a globally respected economist, passed away on December 27, leaving the nation in mourning.
Dr. Singh’s mortal remains will be placed at his residence, 3 Motilal Nehru Road, New Delhi, today to allow the public to pay their final respects.
On December 28, at 8 a.m., his mortal remains will be taken to the All India Congress Committee (AICC) headquarters. From 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., the public and Congress party workers will have the opportunity to offer their tributes.
Dr. Singh’s final journey will commence at 9:30 a.m. from the AICC headquarters to the cremation ground, where the last rites will be performed.
A visionary leader, Dr. Singh served as India’s Prime Minister from 2004 to 2014, steering the country through significant economic reforms and global recognition. He leaves behind a legacy of integrity, dedication, and transformative leadership that will be remembered for generations.
The nation bids a tearful farewell to one of its most beloved statesmen.
