Aligarh (08 March 2025): Amid ongoing discussions regarding Holi celebrations at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), the administration has announced that students can celebrate the festival “freely” at the Non-Resident Students Centre (NRSC) Hall. This decision comes after demands from students seeking permission to mark the occasion on campus.
The move aims to accommodate students who wish to participate in the festivities while maintaining the university’s decorum. AMU authorities emphasized that the celebration should be conducted in a respectful manner, ensuring harmony and inclusivity among all students.
