Birds give Okhla a miss, only five species spotted

NOIDA: It is peak time for birds as well as bird watchers in Okhla Bird Sanctuary. But the low number of bird sightings at the sanctuary this month has marred the enthusiasm of birdwatchers, photographers and ornithologists who come here in large numbers.

October to March is the time when migratory birds arrive here in large numbers but ecologists have spotted only five species at the sanctuary so far this month.
