UN award – Best Women Police Peace Keeper 2014 – Kudos to Jammu and Kashmir policing

   UN Police in Afghanistan nominated Inspector Shakti Devi  , originally from Jammu and Kashmir Police  for  the UN award for 2014 as the Best Women Police Peace Keeper  for teaching the principles of democratizing  of police procedures . She won the award ! Democracy runs so deep in Kashmir that its police, cited as a repressive machinery of the State, too is democratic.  Great News to boast to the World .
