Galgotias University Celebrates QS World Rankings Feat with UP Minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’

Greater Noida, 25th July 2025: Galgotias University on Friday celebrated its performance in the QS World University Rankings 2026. It has been ranked 15th among private universities in India and 43rd overall among all Indian institutions (public and private). The university’s global ranking in the 1201-1400 band is also a point of pride.

The celebration was graced by Dr. Ashwin Fernandes, Executive Director – QS Middle East, Africa & South Asia, who attended as the Chief Guest.

Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’, Cabinet Minister for Industrial Development, Export Promotion, NRI and Investment Promotion, Government of Uttar Pradesh and Mr. Ajay Shekhar Sharma, Chief Business Officer – Paytm were the Guests of Honour on this occasion. Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’ said, “A problem should not be taken as a problem but as a challenge.” The Guests of Honour praised Galgotias University’s commitment to academic excellence, global engagement, and institutional growth.

As part of the celebrations, the guests participated in a Cake Cutting Ceremony held at India’s first AI-Powered Active Learning Block at Galgotias University.
