IHGF Delhi Fair Spring 2026 Rescheduled to February, Introduces Special Furniture Edition

New Delhi – 17th August’2025 – The 61st edition of globally acclaimed IHGF-Delhi fair will be held from 14th – 18th February’2026 at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida. Recognized as one of the world’s largest exhibitions of handicrafts and handmade products, the fair will continue to serve as a pivotal sourcing platform for home, lifestyle, fashion, furniture and furnishings products. Stakeholders, participants and visitors have always been waiting to explore new business opportunities through this highly anticipated trade event, which welcomes overseas buyers, buying and sourcing professionals, as well as large-volume domestic retail buyers.

Announcing new dates Dr. Neeraj Khanna, Chairman, EPCH shared that “The 61st edition of IHGF Delhi Fair Spring’26 has repositioned as ‘Special Furniture Edition’. This would be over and above the Home, lifestyle, fashion, furnishings and décor items displayed in the spring edition making it one of the most anticipated editions in recent years. Traditionally held in March, the Spring edition has been strategically preponed to mid-February with new dates i.e 14th – 18th February’2026 to align with the international sourcing calendar and to directly follow Ambiente Frankfurt 2026, a key global trade fair for home and consumer goods.”

Dr. Khanna further added that “This decision comes in response to detailed consultations and feedback received from overseas buyers, the Buying Agents Association and leading exporters from major furniture-producing hubs like Jaipur, Jodhpur and Saharanpur. Exporters had expressed concerns over the traditional March dates, citing production slowdowns during Ramadan and Holi and the tendency of buyers to shift focus to Far East sourcing during that time. IHGF Delhi fair right after Ambiente would ensure maximum participation from international buyers, particularly those sourcing furniture and home products.”

Highlighting the strategic rationale, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Director General in the role of Chief Mentor – EPCH and Chairman IEML shared “By holding the IHGF Delhi Fair immediately after Ambiente, we are capturing the peak of global sourcing momentum. It allows Indian exporters to secure timely orders and meet international demand schedules more effectively.”
