New Delhi News (19 November, 2025): The three-day Dr. Pritam Singh Memorial & FORE International Management Conference (PRISM–FIMC), 2025 commenced today at Hotel Holiday Inn Aerocity New Delhi, with an inaugural ceremony marked by the traditional lighting of the lamp. The conference, scheduled from 19 to 21 November, brought together industry leaders, academicians, policymakers and management scholars for an intensive dialogue on leadership, global shifts and the future of education.
During the inaugural session, Director of FORE School of Management, Dr. Subir Verma, extended a warm welcome to all dignitaries and participants. He stated that the conference represents the intellectual legacy of Dr. Pritam Singh, whose vision for management education continues to inspire generations. Dr. Verma emphasised that the next three days would reflect collective expectations and offer deep insights into emerging global challenges. He discussed the evolving dimensions of leadership, responsible decision-making, geopolitical awareness and the timeless lessons often highlighted by Dr. Pritam Singh. According to him, leadership today is no longer defined by authority, but by adaptability, empathy and global understanding.

PRISM President P. Dwarkanath reflected on the journey of the Pritam Singh Foundation since the passing of Dr. Singh during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. He shared that the foundation began with humble efforts and has now grown into a dynamic platform that celebrates teachers, honours corporate and academic contributors, and continuously works to inspire emerging leaders. He reiterated that the foundation is committed to carrying forward Dr. Singh’s life lessons and values.
Krishnan Ramachandran, MD & CEO of Niva Bupa, delivered an insightful keynote address focusing on rapid global transformation. He noted that the world has witnessed significant structural shifts in the past five years, driven by technology, geopolitics and artificial intelligence. Recalling his experience of joining Niva Bupa during the Covid era, he highlighted how both individuals and institutions have had to adapt to unprecedented change. He added that his organisation, once the seventh-largest insurer, has now risen to the third position—demonstrating the scale of transformation in the industry.

Chief Guest Dr. T. G. Sitharam, Chairman of AICTE, offered a profound reflection on Dr. Pritam Singh’s transformational influence on institutions and individuals. Speaking on disruptions shaping the 21st century, he identified three major forces: technological disruption, geopolitical realignment and sustainability-driven consumption shifts. He stressed that future leaders must be geopolitically aware, technologically fluent and sustainability-oriented. According to him, leadership today is more about harmony, adaptability and collaboration than hierarchy.
Dr. Sitharam also addressed the urgent challenges in India’s higher education system. He pointed out that while only 29 percent of students currently progress to the university level after Class 12, the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 aims to raise this to 50 percent by 2035. Highlighting historical progress, he noted that from Independence to 2001, India reached only 10 percent Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER), but between 2001 and 2025, it grew by an additional 18 percent. He expressed confidence that the remaining progress would be achieved in the next decade.
The inaugural session also featured the presentation of the Dr. Pritam Singh Corporate Awards, the Dr. Pritam Singh Academia Awards, and the launch of three significant books focusing on leadership, organisational growth and contemporary challenges.
As PRISM–FIMC 2025 moves forward, the conference will continue to host high-impact discussions on institutional transformation, workforce development, global competitiveness, technology integration and the evolving role of leadership in an increasingly complex world. The event aims not only to shape present leadership thinking but also to build a future-ready perspective for generations to come.
The conference was deliberated also by Dr H Chaturvedi , Dr Bhimaraya Meitry , Dr Ravi Jain and senior management leaders . Dr Pritam Singh Awards were presented to Dr Pankaj Bansal , R P Singh , Prof K R S Murthy and others.
