NEW DELHI News (19/11/2025): The three-day Dr. Pritam Singh Memorial & FORE International Management Conference (PRISM–FIMC), 2025 commenced today at Hotel Holiday Inn Aerocity New Delhi, with an inaugural ceremony marked by the traditional lighting of the lamp. The conference, scheduled from 19 to 21 November, brought together industry leaders, academicians, policymakers and management scholars for an intensive dialogue on leadership, global shifts and the future of education.
While speaking to Ten News Network Dr. C. JayaKumar, HR Head at Larsa N. Torvoh, who shared deep insights on the foundation’s initiatives and the enduring legacy of Dr. Pritam Singh.
Welcoming the audience, Dr. C. JayaKumar expressed his delight at being part of the event. He emphasized that the Foundation is dedicated to propagating the philosophy and leadership principles of Dr. Pritam Singh, fondly remembered as “the director with the Midas touch” for his remarkable ability to turn around institutions and promote inclusive, people-centric leadership. Wherever he went, he created history. His focus was always on inclusiveness, people orientation, empathy and mindfulness in leadership, Dr.C.JayaKumar said.
He explained that the Foundation is actively working to connect with educational institutions and youth to bring Dr. Pritam Singh’s teachings to life. Their work currently revolves around capability building, nurturing leadership with compassion, and creating meaningful networks across academia and industry.
We aim to build capability, strengthen connections, and inculcate compassion. Dr. C. JayaKumar brought mindfulness and empathy into leadership, and we want to carry that legacy forward, he added.
The Foundation has also introduced several awards to recognize excellence in leadership and education. Dr. Kumar shared that an independent panel of experts evaluates nominees based on merit and their contributions to the field.
When asked about his message to young entrepreneurs and management professionals amid rapidly evolving geopolitical and technological landscapes, Dr. C.JayaKumar emphasized the importance of agility and adaptability. Change is the only thing that is constant. Things are evolving so fast that organizations must continuously evaluate their environment, structure, and processes. Staying relevant is the key, he advised.
The interaction concluded with Dr. C.JayaKumar expressing gratitude for the opportunity to share his thoughts, reinforcing the Conclave’s objective of inspiring future leaders through the timeless values championed by Dr. Pritam Singh.
