TEN NEWS NETWORK
NEW DELHI News (19/11/2025): The Dr. Pritam Singh Foundation and FORE School of Management inaugurated the Dr. Pritam Singh Memorial & FORE International Management Conference (PRISM–FIMC) 2025 with distinguished academicians, corporate leaders, policymakers and regulators gathering to celebrate the visionary leadership and intellectual legacy of Dr. Pritam Singh, one of India’s most admired management gurus. The three-day conclave is being held to mark his 84th birth anniversary, and aims to promote his principles of transformational leadership, organizational excellence and nation-building.
Speaking to Ten News Network, P. Dwarkanath, President of the Dr. Pritam Singh Foundation, expressed immense satisfaction with the turnout and the enthusiastic participation from diverse sectors.
Overwhelming Participation Across Sectors
Dwarkanath highlighted that the response to this year’s conference exceeded expectations. He said, The response has been overwhelming. We received exceptional participation not only from academicians but also from corporate leaders, policymakers, regulators and professionals from various walks of life.
He added that the conference serves as a knowledge-sharing platform inspired by Dr. Singh’s lifelong mission to mentor leaders and strengthen India’s management ecosystem. The entire purpose is to disseminate Dr. Pritam Singh’s wisdom so that everyone who attends can benefit from it. Today’s leaders need to reimagine, reinvent and move forward to make India a Viksit Bharat in the next 15–20 years.
Honouring Excellence: Awards for Academia and Industry
During the event, the Foundation conferred prestigious awards to distinguished business leaders and academicians—an initiative deeply rooted in Dr. Singh’s philosophy.
P. Dwarkanath explained: Dr. Pritam Singh always believed in celebrating human achievement. To honour this belief, the Foundation has instituted four awards—two dedicated to academia and two to corporate leaders. Each category includes a Lifetime Achievement Award and a Contemporary Leadership Award.
He emphasized that recognising excellence publicly not only honours the recipients but also inspires others to follow their path of commitment, innovation and leadership.
Call for an ‘Indian Management Service’
Addressing a structural gap in India’s human resource leadership framework, Dwarkanath strongly endorsed the idea of establishing an Indian Management Service (IMS).
India has specialized services such as the Indian Economic Service, Indian Statistical Service and Indian Engineering Service, but management—one of the most critical domains—still lacks a national service structure. It is high time we formalise and institutionalise a dedicated management cadre for the country. According to him, such a service would play a crucial role in building future-ready leaders equipped with modern management skills, ethical grounding and global thinking.
Message to Young Entrepreneurs in a Rapidly Changing World
Commenting on the rapidly evolving geopolitical, technological and socio-economic landscape, Dwarkanath described the current environment as highly disruptive but filled with opportunities. We are living in a volatile world where geopolitical tensions, technological advancements and social changes are creating continuous disruptions. But this is a tremendous opportunity for India’s young population.
He advised emerging entrepreneurs and management professionals to embrace technology without losing sight of human values. Technology will keep evolving, but qualities like empathy, perseverance and resilience will always remain invaluable. AI can be leveraged, but ultimately, human intelligence and a human-centric approach will define future success.
PRISM–FIMC 2025 features keynote addresses, panel discussions, research presentations and leadership dialogues focusing on:
Transforming India’s management education landscape
Future-ready leadership and organisational strategy
Technology-led business transformation
Ethical and human-centric management practices
India’s roadmap toward becoming a Viksit Bharat
The conclave continues to serve as a dynamic platform for thought leadership, policy dialogue and professional collaboration—upholding Dr. Pritam Singh’s legacy of inspiring leaders across generations.
