Pathways School Noida

Pathways School, Noida celebrated its 4th annual Founder’s Day on Oct 31 and Nov 1st 2014. The celebration commenced by the lighting of the lamps by Mr Pramod Jain, Chairman (Pathways Group); Dr Shalini Advani, School Director (Pathways School NOIDA); and the School Management Committee.

The welcome speech by Dr Advani cheered the whole fraternity of parents, students and teachers and gave a brief description of achievements by school in such a short time.

The highlight of the event was the adaptation of one of the most successful Broadway productions of all time  ‘The Lion King’– nearly 7000 shows in the last 20 years across the globe. The school adapted it in typical Broadway Style where all actors and dancers sang live on the stage. It allowed students from all age groups to be in ONE COHESIVE MAJOR PRODUCTION. It was a beautiful and perfectly spectacular splash of colours, songs and dances on stage. The remarkable story taught children that “Life can be tough sometimes and the past can hurt, but you can either run from it or learn from it. Do your best and learn from past mistakes.”

The evening witnessed a colourful array of dances and musical acts. Accolades came in from all quarters for the exemplary all round performances by the students. The glorious production, involving music, dance and theatrics was a visual delight with costumes, stage properties and stage design all created in-house by the diversely talented students and faculty of Pathways School, Noida.

All activities were designed to contribute towards all-round development of young Pathwaysians. The evening was anything but ordinary and concluded with wonderful words of encouragement by Dr Advani who applauded the efforts of students and teachers. It was a perfect day and a wonderful celebration of the school’s journey of 4 years.  In our hearts, there is no doubt that this production has raised the benchmark of School productions, and revealed facets of ourselves we had not discovered yet.
