Greater Noida News (15/02/2026): The 61st edition of the IHGF Delhi Fair – Spring 2026 is being held from February 14 to 18 at the state-of-the-art India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida. Organised by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), the premier sourcing event features over 3,000 exhibitors spread across 17 dedicated halls. The fair showcases a diverse range of products, including home furnishings, furniture, fashion jewellery, eco-friendly items, and lifestyle products.

Speaking to Ten News Network, Fernando, a foreign visitor from Argentina, said that his company, Tienda Ballerina, was participating in the Delhi Fair for the second time. We mainly work with rugs, throws, cushions, baskets—everything related to home textile décor. We also deal in dried flowers, ceramics, coir mats, bath mats, and many other products from India, he said.

He added, We are especially looking for rugs—jute rugs and cotton rugs—which are the core of our business. The India Expo Mart venue is very good. It helps foreign buyers by providing support with hotels, shuttle services, and infrastructure, making it easier for us to come here and find new suppliers.

Manfred Winkler from Germany, representing Global Fairtrade Partner, told Ten News Network, We work on Fairtrade principles and buy directly from producers, not from the open market. The fair is always very interesting because we see new things and can study designs. Indian handicrafts have a lot to offer—paper mache, wooden articles, weaving, shawls, and many other products. The shawls here are particularly beautiful. He further said that the fair had made significant progress this year and was much better organised. We are very pleased with the improvements, he added.

Luciana from Paraguay, South America, shared her experience, saying, This is my first time in India and my first time in Asia. It is only my second day at the fair, and I am getting to know the suppliers and the people here. It’s an excellent experience. I own a store in my country, and I am looking for furniture and decorative items. I’m finding many interesting products and hope to return with new items to sell. She also noted that she had visited fairs in Germany and the United States and felt that the IHGF Delhi Fair compared very well with those international events.

Warren from South Africa told Ten News Network, We are mainly looking for furniture and handicraft items, with a strong focus on furniture. India has always been unique—you can’t find products like these anywhere else in the world. Over the years, Indian designs have become much trendier and more innovative. He added that while the venue is very large and takes time to cover, the experience has been amazing, and he plans to explore the fair over the next few days.

The response on the second day of the 61st edition of the IHGF Delhi Fair – Spring 2026 has been very encouraging. The event highlights India’s growing strength in the global handicrafts and furniture trade and serves as an important platform for international buyers to connect with Indian exporters and expand business opportunities. The IHGF Delhi Fair Spring 2026 continues to strengthen its reputation as a key global hub for the handicrafts and home décor industry.
