Ten News Network

New Delhi News (11 March 2026): Continuing its commitment to highlighting issues of public and national interest with a positive and impartial approach, the renowned digital news platform Ten News Network organized a special knowledge-based talk show titled “Ten Talks” on Tuesday, March 10, at the Constitution Club of India in New Delhi. The event brought together several distinguished personalities from diverse fields including politics, education, law, social service, journalism, and spirituality, who shared their insights and experiences with the audience.

The program was inaugurated with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the chief guests Rajya Sabha MP P. Santosh Kumar, Samajwadi Party MP from Ayodhya Awadhesh Prasad, and Rajya Sabha MP P. Wilson. During the event, speakers discussed the role of different sectors in strengthening democratic values and contributing to the development of the nation.

Addressing the gathering, Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament P. Wilson emphasized the critical role of media in a democracy and highlighted the importance of fair and unbiased journalism. He stated that the media is widely regarded as the fourth pillar of democracy, and therefore it must uphold its responsibility to present accurate and impartial information to the public.

He said, The press and media are considered the fourth pillar of democracy. It is the responsibility of the media to deliver fair, unbiased, and untainted news to the people. Viewers and listeners deserve to know exactly what is happening across the country without any distortion.

P. Wilson stressed that the credibility of a media organization depends on its commitment to truth and neutrality. According to him, audiences place their trust in certain news platforms because they present facts objectively and allow viewers to form their own opinions.

He remarked, People trust certain media houses and channels because they provide accurate and unbiased reporting. The role of the media is to present facts and leave it to the viewers to interpret them. News should not become opinionated reporting where the views of a channel overshadow the facts.

He also expressed concern about the increasing trend of sensationalism in news coverage, stating that some media outlets tend to exaggerate issues that may not have significant relevance to the public.

He said, Unfortunately, today we often see that news coverage is driven by sensationalism. Issues that may not be significant for the public are sometimes magnified unnecessarily by the media. In some cases, events that occurred years ago are presented as if they have happened recently, which creates confusion among viewers.

Encouraging responsible journalism, he appreciated the work of Ten News Network and expressed hope that the platform would continue to focus on factual reporting and constructive dialogue.

He added, I hope Ten News will continue to focus on delivering truthful and meaningful journalism. The time has come for platforms like yours to also gain greater access to national institutions. You should become an accredited media organization so that you can cover parliamentary debates and provide citizens with authentic information from inside Parliament.

P. Wilson also acknowledged the presence of Ten News in legal and public affairs coverage and praised its efforts in reporting on judicial matters.

He said, I have often seen the presence of Ten News at important events related to the judiciary. My good friend Dr. Adish Aggarwala and I have great respect for the work your platform is doing. Your coverage of legal events and recognition programs for members of the judiciary is truly commendable.

Concluding his remarks, he urged media organizations to remain committed to truth and avoid presenting biased narratives.

He stated, My appeal to all news media is simple: let us present the truth to the public. Media should not distort facts or promote opinions to please someone. The responsibility of journalism is to provide correct information to society.

The event also witnessed the presence of several eminent personalities including Professor Ruby Mishra (Principal, Bhagini Nivedita College, University of Delhi), Advocate Dr. A.P. Singh (Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India), Dr. Adish C. Aggarwala (Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India), Dr. Khushboo Singh (Handicraft Exporter and Director, Arya Fashion), Anandita Basu (Quiz Master), Ruchika R. Sharma (renowned astrologer), Dr. Prof. Vandana Sharma ‘Diya’ (Professor, University of Delhi and scholar of Advaita Vedanta philosophy), Professor Savita Jha (Professor, University of Delhi and social activist), Jyotish Ratna Guruji Gautam Rishi (Founder and National President, All India Gurukul and Gaushala Research Institute), Major Dr. Prachi Garg (MC and Kargil veteran), Purushottam Bihari (thinker and author), and Alok Dwivedi (Senior Journalist and President, Noida Media Club).

During the program, speakers shared inspiring journeys of their professional experiences, struggles, and achievements. They also discussed how sectors such as education, law, media, culture, and spirituality can collectively contribute to building a developed and progressive India.

The organizers expressed hope that dialogue platforms like “Ten Talks” will encourage meaningful discussions in society and inspire the younger generation to engage in constructive thinking and nation-building.
