Alumni Meet organised in ITS College of Pharmacy
The Alumni Meet of I.T.S College of Pharmacy was successfully organised on 18th April 2026 to foster strong connections between the institution and its esteemed alumni. The event served as a platform for former students to reconnect with their alma mater, interact with faculty members, and share their professional experiences with current students. The event was conducted under the able guidance of Mr. Arpit Chadha, Hon’ble Vice Chairman – I.T.S – The Education Group.
The alumni began arriving at the college from 9:30 AM onwards and were warmly welcomed by the institution. To commence the occasion on an auspicious note, all dignitaries were invited to the dais for the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, accompanied by alumni and faculty members.
The program commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. Sadish Kumar S, Director, I.T.S College of Pharmacy. He appreciated the organizing team for successfully coordinating the program. He warmly welcomed the alumni, highlighting their journey from pharmacy students at I.T.S to professionals in drug discovery, manufacturing, and digital health. He emphasized the rapid transformation of the pharmaceutical industry, driven by AI and advanced technologies. He also outlined initiatives by I.T.S to train students in areas like toxicity prediction, pharmacovigilance, and real-world data through expert sessions. He encouraged alumni to stay connected, calling I.T.S their “professional home.” He concluded by inviting collaboration for continued growth and progress.
Cultural performances by junior students added vibrancy to the event, creating a nostalgic and engaging atmosphere for the alumni. Various games played by alumni provided them with an opportunity to revisit their college memories and strengthen their bond with the institution. Various alumni shared their professional journeys, reflecting on their experiences from their time at I.T.S to their current roles in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. They discussed the challenges they faced, the skills they developed, and the opportunities that shaped their careers. The alumni also provided valuable insights into industry expectations and emerging trends.
This was followed by the felicitation of alumni who have brought pride to the institution and served as an inspiration for the students. During lunch, an informal interactive session was organised, where alumni shared valuable insights into career opportunities, industry expectations, and the evolving landscape of pharmaceutical sciences. They highlighted the importance of skill development, research orientation, and adaptability in achieving professional success. The session encouraged active participation from students, who engaged in meaningful discussions and sought guidance regarding career planning and higher studies.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Shalini Kapoor Sawhney, Professor, who expressed her sincere appreciation to all the organisers, alumni, faculty, and students for their support and guidance in making Alumni Meet 2026 a grand success. The program concluded with the National anthem and group photography. Ms. Sakshi Chauhan (Asst. Professor), along with Ananya, Vaishnavi, Pradeep and Nupur smoothly anchored the program. The program was coordinated by Dr. Sagarika Majhi, Professor (Alumni Coordinator) and Mr. Manish Kumar (Asst. Professor).
