Students Were Highly Curious About AR-VR, Robotics Technologies at Bharat Shiksha Expo: Vikash from AKGEC

Greater Noida News (16/05/2026): After three days of innovation, academic interaction, skill-based learning and career-focused engagement, Bharat Shiksha Expo 2026 concluded successfully today at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida. Organised from May 14 to May 16, the mega education expo emerged as one of India’s largest platforms connecting universities, educational institutions, EdTech companies, policymakers, industry experts, counsellors, parents and thousands of students under one roof. The final day of the expo witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and parents exploring higher education opportunities, future career pathways and emerging industry-oriented programmes. A valedictory ceremony was also organised on the concluding day, marking the successful completion of the three-day educational event.

The expo served as a vibrant platform promoting innovation, experiential learning, industry-academia collaboration and skill development aligned with the vision of future-ready education in India. Several universities and institutions from across the country participated in the event, showcasing their academic programmes, infrastructure, placement opportunities, technological advancements and research initiatives.

Speaking with Ten News Network, Vikash from Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College said that the institution, established in 1998, carries a strong legacy of 27 years in technical education. He shared that the college offers a wide range of programmes including B.Tech, MBA, MCA, and several other professional courses aimed at preparing students for successful careers.

Highlighting the college’s participation at the expo, Vikash stated that the institution joined the event to connect with aspiring students and provide information about quality education, training programmes, and placement opportunities. We are focused not only on academics but also on industry-oriented learning experiences that help students gain practical knowledge and strong career exposure, he said.

He further explained that the college has collaborations with more than 70 industry partners and houses over 14 Centres of Excellence on campus. We have advanced facilities and technologies including Drone Technology, Robotics, Automation, 3D Printing, and Metallic 3D Printing. Beyond the curriculum, we are offering students multiple opportunities to enhance their domain knowledge and technical skills, Vikash added.

Sharing his experience from the three-day expo, he noted that the footfall was impressive, especially from school students who showed great interest in the AR-VR setups and robotics demonstrations displayed at the stall. Students were very curious to understand how these technologies and engineering systems work. We explained every setup in detail and received a good response from both students and parents regarding courses and admissions, he said.

Praising the venue, India Expo Centre & Mart, Vikash described it as one of the best and most accessible venues in Uttar Pradesh for large-scale educational events. He appreciated the overall arrangements and management, calling the experience smooth and well-organised.

Throughout the three-day event, students actively participated in hackathons, workshops, counselling sessions, quizzes, robotics demonstrations, AI learning activities and interactive career guidance programmes. The expo also provided institutions with opportunities for networking, collaboration and showcasing innovation-driven educational models.

As Bharat Shiksha Expo 2026 concluded on its final day, the event successfully established itself as a significant national platform promoting modern education, innovation and skill-based learning. The overwhelming response from universities, industry leaders, educators, students and parents reflected the growing importance of experiential education platforms that bridge the gap between academics and industry requirements. The expo not only created awareness about future career opportunities but also empowered students with knowledge, exposure and confidence to make informed academic and professional choices in an increasingly competitive and technology-driven world.
