EPCH showcases Indian Handicrafts and Craftsmanship at ASD Market Week 2026, Las Vegas
Delhi/NCR – 27th August’2026 – “ASD Market Week 2026” got underway at Las Vegas, USA and will conclude on 27th August’ 2026. The three-day event brings together 19+ product categories on a unified show, creating an extensive sourcing platform for retailers, distributors, importers and trade buyers. The Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), with the support of the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, is showcasing India’s diverse range of handcrafted fashion, lifestyle and accessories at ASD Market Week 2026.
The India Pavilion got inaugurated by Kulwant Singh, Consul – HoC & Community Affairs, Consulate General of India, Los Angeles, USA in the presence of participating member exhibitors, master craft persons and trade visitors at Las Vegas Convention Centre, Las Vegas, USA.
Kulwant Singh, Consul – HoC & Community Affairs, Consulate General of India, Los Angeles along with the other officials visited EPCH India pavilion and interacted with participating exporters and Master Craftspersons. He appreciated the range of Indian products on display as well as the live demonstrations showcasing India’s rich craft traditions and skills.
Dr. Neeraj Khanna, Chairman, EPCH , said, “The United States is one of the most significant markets for Indian handicrafts, home, lifestyle and gift products and platforms such as ASD Market Week provides an important opportunity to strengthen our engagement with buyers, retailers and distributors in this market. Indian handicrafts have a distinct advantage through their combination of creativity, craftsmanship, sustainability and adaptability to contemporary design preferences.”
Dr. Khanna further said, “The participation of our exporters and Master Craftspersons presents the complete story of Indian handicrafts, from traditional skills and heritage techniques to modern, market-oriented products. Such international platforms help enhance the visibility of Indian products, develop new buyer linkages and create long-term business opportunities for exporters and artisans.”
Rajesh Rawat, Executive Director, EPCH , said, “ASD Market Week brings together a wide spectrum of buyers, from retailers and distributors to importers, e-commerce businesses and specialised stores making it a relevant platform for Indian handicraft exporters seeking to expand their presence in the U.S. market. The interactions during the fair have been useful in understanding buyer requirements relating to pricing, quantities, product customisation, packaging and delivery. We are also observing encouraging interest in products that combine traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design, functional home and lifestyle applications, sustainable materials and opportunities for private-label and retail distribution. These insights will help our exporters further align their collections with the requirements of the U.S. market.”
Rawat further said, “in this edition, 2 member exporters are participating and showcasing home furnishings & handmade carpets. To promote Indian Handicrafts, EPCH has setup Thematic Display with live demonstration of Indian Traditional Crafts by Master Craftspersons. The office of Development Commissioner [Handicrafts], Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India has deputed Master Craftspersons of Blue Pottery from Kutch, Jaipur, Rajasthan; Miniature Painting from Bikaner, Rajasthan and Terracotta from Pondicherry.
