Businessman robbed of Rs 1.85 lakh

Two bike-borne miscreants allegedly robbed a businessman of Rs 1.85 lakh and US$600 in cash and a laptop on Tuesday night after deflating the tyre of his car.

According to the complaint of the victim, Satish Pandey, with the Sector 20 police station, the accused knocked on his window at the traffic signal near Metro Hospital and said that the rear tyre of his Skoda car was punctured. While Pandey was inspecting the car, the miscreants allegedly made away with his belongings.
