A 5.9 magnitude #earthquake struck Afghanistan on Sundaym

A 5.9 magnitude earthquake struck Afghanistan on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The epicentre of the quake lay about 300 kilometres from Kabul near Ashkasham in Afghanistan, around 90 kilometres below the surface, the agency said.

Tremors were felt in Pakistan and north India, including Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana and Delhi. The quake struck around 11:46 pm Indian time.

There were no immediate reports of casualties
