Aam Aadmi Party Government in Delhi was equally responsible for the three landfill mountains : Delhi Congress
NEW DELHI, November 11, 2022 Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Ch. Anil Kumar said that Aam Aadmi Party’s “10 Guarantees” for the MCD elections, which includes clearing the three land fill mountains and ending corruption in Delhi, were like the “pot calling the kettle black”. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party Government in Delhi was equally responsible for the three landfill mountains and corruption, as in the past 8 years, the Kejriwal Government only fostered corruption, as it utilized every opportunity to make money. He said that Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was accused No 1 in the FIR filed by the CBI in the liquor scam, and he was Kejriwal’s key alley in the liquor scam.
Ch. Anil Kumar said that that the fact that the National Green Tribunal (NGT) has slapped Rs 900 crore fine on the Delhi Government for undisposed waste, proves its role in the accumulation of waste in the Capital. He said that while the BJP’s “Vachan Patra” promising flats to slum dwellers has become a standing joke, Aam Aadmi Party manifesto was another joke being Delhiites.
Ch. Anil Kumar said that like all his Assembly election “guarantees”, Kejriwal’s “10 guarantees” for the MCD elections will remain just another bundle of lies, and nothing will move ahead, as the broken roads, the pathetic condition of Delhi Government schools and hospitals, are standing testimonies of the Kejriwal Government’s corruption, inaction and incompetence, as no constructive work was done in Delhi for the past 8 years, except corruption. He said that the performance of Delhi Government schools in the Board exams were pathetic, while Government schools in Delhi do not figure among the first ten in national rankings of best performing schools.
Ch. Anil Kumar said that the promise to the traders, shopkeepers and street vendors were empty rhetoric as the Kejriwal Government was guilty, like the BJP, in harassing and exploiting them without providing relief to them after the Covid-19 pandemic lockdowns had created devastation among the business community, and who are yet to come out of that crisis, as neither the BJP nor the AAP Government gave them any bailout package.
Ch. Anil Kumar said that the so-called Mohalla Clinics, set up in a few pota-cabins in filthy conditions, has become a standing joke, as these contraptions were of no use when the Covid-19 pandemic was doing a death dance, even for conducting simple Covid tests.
Ch. Anil Kumar said that the people of Delhi were now regretting for electing a non-resident, non-performing Chief Minister like Kejriwal to power, as he has been squandering Delhi tax payers’ money for his election tours, which were of no use to Delhi. He said that problems of Delhi piled up like the garbage mountains, with the elected Government in a limbo, and Kejriwal on perennial tours. He said that it was laughable that Kejriwal will end corruption, as Minister Satyender Jain has been in jail for the past four months in a money-laundering case, with another jail-mate, Sukesh Chandrasekhar, accusing him of taking Rs 10 crore ‘protection’ money from him for his safety in the jail, while Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is accused No 1 in the liquor scam and class room construction scam, and 80 per cent of the AAP Ministers face one case or another. Ch. Anil Kumar wondered will such a party be able to end corruption in Delhi?
