#AamAadmiParty’s Statement on Shiela Dikshit

Aam Aadmi Party wishes to make it absolutely clear that it shall neither seek support from nor extend support to the Congress or the BJP. AAP has entered the electoral fray in order to clean politics of its known vices. A vote for AAP is therefore a vote against all the established political parties against the politics of corruption represented by all major political parties. The idea of entering into an alliance with either the congress or the BJP would be a betrayal of the popular mandate that is sweeping across Delhi.

The Chief Minister Shiela Dikshit’s statement tacitly acknowledges that Congress is becoming irrelevant to the electoral race in Delhi. A popular wave in favour of AAP is sweeping through Delhi. This historic mandate shall ensure that this historic and decisive mandate shall put to rest any speculation about hung assembly and coalition politics.
