AAP Minister slams BJP Government for Sant Ravidas Temple’s demolition

Delhi: Toady, Aap minister Rajendra Pal Gautam alleged BJP of being aware about Sant Ravidas Temple demolition incident as the party filed an affidevit in Supreme Court on 17th October. In the affidevit the party has mentioned about providing 200 meter land for Sant Ravidas Temple.

Over the same, Aap Party attacked BJP alleging party of being aware about demolition. Rajendra pal Gautam said “The issue comes under Central Government as Delhi Development Authority DDA works under government. So it can be easily averted and we dint need to stage massive protest.

Further he added “as the party filed afedevit in highest court for providing land it automatically gets clear that the land use to come under central government and BJP Delhi president Manoj Tiwari is trying to mislead the people of Delhi on the issue.

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) had demolished the temple pursuant to the orders of the apex court. Following the demolition of the 500-year-old temple, protests have been staged at several places in Punjab and Delhi by political parties and members of the Dalit community.
