New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party will soon launch a mega agitation in the National Capital in favour of the the demand of full statehood for Delhi, the party believes that their move will enhance the development pace in the state and will give more powers to Delhi government.
The ruling government in centre and the Delhi government have been in a political tussle from several years over the issue, even the issue was also taken to the courts.
Minister for Employment, Development, Labour, General Administration and Irrigation in Government of Delhi, Gopal Rai said that the party will soon launch a mega agitation in a move to establish Delhi as a state, the party youth wing Chatrra Yuva Sangarsh Samiti (CYSS) will be actively involved in the agitation.”
The party’s move is announced just before Lok Sabha elections, it can be assumed that the party’s will be taking this as a major issue in upcoming elections to make their political land more fertile.
On the other hand the, Delhi CM has also targeted the ruling government in centre for allegedly creating distruptions in intimating development works in Delhi.
