New Delhi(17/11/2019): The BJP has alleged that due to the failure of the Delhi government, people in the capital are forced to drink contaminated water.

Delhi Pradesh BJP President Manoj Tiwari said that the Delhi Government has failed to provide clean water to Delhiites.

He said that drinking water samples from 20 States of the country were tested by the Bureau of Indian Standards and Delhi’s water was found as the most contaminated than other cities.

He said that despite Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal having Delhi Jal Board support, the people are still struggling with water problem.

He said that water samples were taken from 11 places including Burari, Ashok Nagar and Nand Nagri in Delhi. All samples have failed.

A water quality check conducted by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) of the Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs found Delhi’s water to be the most polluted. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has retaliated on this report. AAP spokesperson Saurabh Bhardwaj on Saturday challenged the Union Government and Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan, saying that in our presence the water of Delhi and the BJP-ruled city should be investigated by an impartial agency, the situation will become clear who is wrong and who is right?

After failing miserably to control air pollution across North India, the central government is doing politics on water quality.
