New Delhi(23rd May 2023): Microsoft Corp. co-founder Bill Gates said on Monday that the top artificially intelligent agent, ready to disrupt search engines, productivity, and online shopping sites, is the technology race to win.
“You’ll never go to a search site again,” he predicted. “You’ll never go to Amazon.”
Speaking at AI Forward 2023, an event presented by Goldman Sachs Group Inc and SV Angel in San Francisco, Gates stated that it would upset him if Microsoft was not in the running, though there is a 50% possibility that the top player will be a startup.
Gates said that he was impressed by Inflection AI, which was co-founded by entrepreneur Reid Hoffman.
Various industry participants have collaborated on developing an AI-powered computer assistant that consumers may direct via speech or text to do a variety of chores for them, which is highly impressive and would be a game changing technology. To this he said, “Whoever wins the personal agent, that’s a big thing.”
