New Delhi (India), 16th April 2023: According to CEO Campbell Wilson, 2023 is expected to be a significant year for the new Air India.

In an internal message to his staff on Friday, the new Air India’s CEO Campbell Wilson predicted that 2023 will be a significant and exciting year in the airline’s history.

In order to relieve roster strain and free up space for expansion to restart, Wilson stated that almost 400 new cabin crew members are being released to line up over the next four weeks, with 1,400 more in various levels of the training pipeline.

The new roster system for Air India, according to him, is almost complete. He claimed that crew ambassadors had a discussion about the entire system. “It will increase transparency, fairness, and equity, roster stability, protection of golden offs, and reduce fatigue,” he said.

The CEO of the airline reported that the last pre-delivery inspections are being completed on the fourth leased B772LR and that “well underway” preparations are being made for the introduction into service of six additional B773ERs, their first A350s, and several narrow bodies.

Wilson also provided assurances regarding the development of a new website, new crew uniforms, and new aircraft interiors and liveries.
