Rajasthan, Sept 10th,2022: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be addressing the BJP OBC Morcha meet today in Jodhpur, the home turf of Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot who belongs to the Congress party.
The OBC wing of the Bhartiya Janta Party(BJP) is commencing with their two-day national committee meeting in Jodhpur which will be attended by Shah today.
The meeting is aimed at strengthening the party’s OBC vote bank in the state ahead of the high-stakes assembly elections next year.
Shah will also be addressing the inaugural session of the BJP booth-workers meeting today at the Jodhpur Dusshera Ground in the Congress-ruled Rajasthan.
The BJP leader arrived in Jaisalmer yesterday evening. He also visited the Tanot Mata temple today morning and will be heading towards the BJP meeting scheduled for the afternoon.
Amit Shah’s visit to the Congress-ruled Rajasthan comes at a time when the party is holding a pan-India foot march with an eye on the next Lok Sabha polls.
