Amity University Gurugram ranked in Top 100 universities in NIRF India University Rankings 2023

New Delhi (09/06/2023): Amity University Gurugram, located in Haryana, has achieved a significant milestone by securing a place among the top 100 universities in India in the NIRF India University Rankings 2023. The university has been ranked at number 94, marking its commendable performance in the field of higher education.

Among the universities in the state of Haryana, Amity University Gurugram is one of four institutions to feature in the top 100 list. The other three universities from Haryana that made it to the prestigious ranking are Maharishi Markandeshwar University, MDU, and Chaudhary Charan Singh Agriculture University. This achievement highlights the growing prominence of educational institutions in Haryana.

Furthermore, the success of Amity University Gurugram extends beyond the overall university ranking. Three of its institutions, namely Amity Law School (ALS), Amity Business School (ABS), and Amity School of Engineering and Technology (ASET), have also secured positions in the top 100 institutions in their respective domains nationwide. Prof PB Sharma, the Vice-Chancellor of Amity University Gurugram, expressed his satisfaction with the rankings. Prof Sharma highlighted the rigorous evaluation process followed by NIRF, which involves assessing universities based on parameters such as teaching-learning resources, funded research projects, graduate outcomes, outreach and inclusivity, and peer perceptions. This comprehensive evaluation system ensures the rankings are based on reliable data and feedback from peers.

Amity University Gurugram is known for its focus on innovation, industry-relevant skills, and project-based learning. The institution has undertaken 99 high-end funded research and development projects aligned with national research missions. Additionally, the university has filed 227 patents that hold significant relevance to industry and society. Amity University Gurugram also boasts the distinction of being a LEED Platinum Certified Green Campus, recognized by the US Green Building Council.
