Animated series for kids to feature reality show
Mumbai, Aug 14 (PTI) An animated TV series for children, accompanied by a reality show and an augmented game, will soon be launched.
A Pune-based studio, for the first time in the country, is set to launch such an entertainment animation series, titled ” “Amazing Kids”.
As a part of “Amazing Kids”, “The Amaze” game is said to be India’s answer to “Pokemon Go”. In this augmented reality game, the gamer will collect the elements and join forces with other gamers to battle and capture the Maze Monsters.
“The first season of ‘Amazing Kids’ will be released in 52 episodes of 22 minutes using a combination of Flash and 3D,” said Ashish S K, Mentor, Screenyug Creations, which is showcasing the series.
Screenyug, known for its flagship animated series like “Mary Kom Junior” and “War Heroes of India”, is currently in talks with domestic broadcasters and Canadian co-production partners for “Amazing Kids” animation series, Ashish added.
“Online streaming has exposed today’s audience to an array of content choices. It is critical now to create such a property which has content richness to run seasons after seasons and expansion possibilities in all verticals,” he said.
The story of the series revolves around saving the earth from extinction and in the process the kids learn and discover team bonding, problem solving and a lot about planet earth as they save an element of earth from extinction in each episode.
Anand Pandey, creator, “Amazing Kids”, said “Creating an immersive experience for the viewers is critical today.
When I conceived this show the core philosophy was to create experiential storytelling and the market today is now ready for a show of this magnitude.”
The series will ensure that exciting stories continue to engage the audience, while the immersive experience will be extended over the online gaming and reality shows, he said.
