Another Blow for Infosys as SVP Charles Salameh joins Sangoma Tech Corp as CEO

Markham (Canada), 04/08/23: Another Infosys senior executive has departed the business to join another company. Charles Salameh, senior vice president of Infosys, has left the firm to become the new CEO and member of the board of directors of Sangoma Technologies Corporation, beginning September 1.

Salameh worked as the global head of account expansion at Infosys. According to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the SVP was in charge of fostering growth and expansion across the Infosys business.

Charles Salameh joins a long list of senior executives who have left Tier 1 Indian IT firms to become CEOs of global IT firms or CEOs of smaller Indian rivals. Ravi Kumar, a former president at Infosys, was named CEO of Cognizant earlier this year.

Mohit Joshi, former president of Infosys, was named CEO designate of rival IT firm Tech Mahindra in June.

Vishal Salvi, the former chief information strategy officer (CISO) of Infosys, was appointed CEO of cybersecurity firm Quickheal last month.
