Appointment of Judges in the different High Courts

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint S/Shri (i) V. Bharathidasan, (ii) D. Krishnakumar, (iii) S. S. Sundar, (vi) M. V. Muralidaran, (v) Ponnusamy Kalaiyarasan and (vi) B. Gokuldas, to be Judges of the Madras High Court, in that order of seniority, with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint S/Shri (i) Ganga Ram Moolchandani, (ii) Deepak Maheshwari, (iii) Vijay Kumar Vyas, (iv) Kailash Chandra Sharma, (v) Goverdhan Bardhar, (vi) Pankaj Bhandari, and (vii) Dinesh Chandra Somani, to be Additional Judges of the Rajasthan High Court, in that order of seniority.

The appointment of S/Shri (i) Ganga Ram Moolchandani, (ii) Deepak Maheshwari, (iii) Vijay Kumar Vyas, (iv) Goverdhan Bardhar, (v) Pankaj Bhandari, and (vi) Dinesh Chandra Somani, would be for a period of two years with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices. However, the period of appointment of Shri Kailash Chandra Sharma would be with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office till 31st December, 2017.
