Artists Bratin Khan and Sutapa Khan art exhibition

The paintings has been inspired from the peaceful landscapes of Shantiniketan and the Chinese & Japanese paintings combined nature with a human form giving a feeling of totality.

The close effect of nature and human forms particularly female figures are predominant in Sutapa’s work. Her medium is tempera on canvas. Her style is an extended form of Indian miniatures paintings on a large canvas or paper.
