Asian Art Exhibition at New Delhi – Confluence of Asian Art and Culture – attracts art lovers in large numbers

New Delhi, 16 August 2022: The Embassy of Mongolia, New Delhi in association with the World Women Organisation and the India International Trade Tourism and Culture Council (IITTCC) organized an Asian art exhibition, ‘Confluence of Asian Art and Culture’ at Dr. BR Ambedkar International Centre, Janpath, New Delhi on August 12-13.

 

The Confluence of Asian Art & Culture is a sincere attempt to bring forth the artistic exuberance of various amateurs– both budding and established artists from Asian countries. The occasion also witnessed the participation of specially-abled artists from across the country who exhibited their paintings.

During the program, IITTCC logo was also officially launched. The samples of branded Assam tea were also distributed for promoting the same.

 

Ganbold Dambajav, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Embassy of Mongolia in New Delhi said, “We are glad to associate with WWO and IITTCC for organising an art exhibition Confluence of Asian Art & Culture in New Delhi. The event evoked excellent response from the Asian countries including India and witnessed large-scale participation in terms of diplomats supporting the event as well as artists participating in it.”

 

While Dr Ashma Begum, Chairperson, WWO, addressed the gathering and said, “In our bid to promote the very concept of ONE ASIA-STRONG ASIA, we are organised an art exhibition “Confluence of Asian Art & Culture” with the representation of artists from various Asian countries. As it is widely known, the 21st century belongs to Asia, and the Asian countries are instrumental in defining the “New World Order”, we plan to promote the very concept of ONE ASIA-STRONG ASIA by bringing them together on a common platform. This is with the sincere intent of introducing the strong areas of Asia in the art, culture, language, education, diplomatic relations, trade, commerce, and industry sphere.”

 

“I am feeling glad to be in the official team of decision makers of IITTCC and I will do my best to contribute to promoting and building a strong bridge between India and the African continent in various development fields,” said Dr D. Hervé Coulibaly from Burkina Faso-West Africa, Co-Founder and President of IITTCC.

 

The event witnessed presence of Dr. Ramdas Athawale, Minister of State, Social Justice and Empowerment, Chandra Mohon Patuwari, Minister for Trade and Commerce, Environment Forest Act East policy Affairs and welfare of Minorities Development, representative of CM of Assam – Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma and Diplomats from Asian and African continent. They inaugurated the exhibition on August 12 evening in the presence of Ambassadors including diplomats from various embassies and high commissions of Asia and Africa, senior diplomats from the United States Of America, Dhirendra Sachan IAS, Special Secretary Uttar Pradesh Govt and Chairman Cycling federation, UP, Ajay Kesri IRS, joint Commissioner Income-tax, Yogi Priyavrat Animesh, President Ooj Foundation, Acharya Dr. Sailesh, Father Thomas, and Imam Ilyasi were also present on the occasion. Raj Kumar, Director, Discovery, IAS Advocate Arun Tiwari, SC, Mahendra Surana Approved valuer by Government of India among others.
