#AssemblyElections2018: After Dismal Performance in Hindi Heartland states, BJP leaders believe, won’t impact 2019 Elections

New Delhi: ( 11/12/18) The results in the state assembly elections of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Mizoram was declared by the Election Commission of India on Tuesday.

The counting of votes is underway in the Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Mizoram state elections,Where The Congress is heading towards a majority in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan, but the party is facing a stiff competition with the BJP in Madhya Pradesh. In Mizoram, the Mizo National Front (MNF) has won a full majority, while Telangana voted emphatically for K Chandrashekar Rao-
led TRS.

Narendra Modi’s party has lost ground in four of the five states it is contesting, with Congress seeing a resurgence.

While Taking to Ten New at Party head office, BJP leaders and National Spokesperson Echoing with each other said BJP assembly elections performance won’t have any affect on 2019 elections.

RP Singh, BJP Spokesperson, while Speaking with Ten News on 5 State Assembly Results said, “At time you win at times you loose you don’t go and chest hump and when you loose you don’t get depressed. We need to introspect and correction needs to be taken.”

Sudesh Verma, BJP Spokesperson, said,
“The reason why we are left behind. We need to introspect and work on it. We see it very simply that where is the problem lies and what we have to done. The 5 States we are seeing the results is all related to the local issues. The elections were fought on locals issues or state issues so i don’t think it will have affect on 2019 elections.”

BJP Leader Bizay Sonkar Shastri, said,
“Well the way we were excepting the results are not like we thought. Because we a were expecting that three hindi heartlands we will retain the power. I feel that we were not able to convey our thoughts with the public very well.”

BJP Leader, Rohit Chahal, Speaking about the Assembly Results said,
“We should not link these assembly elections with 2019 general elections, because in 2019 after 6 months we don’t know what Will be the issues but surely we will focus on the development like we did in 2014.”
