At least 10 killed in Gambhira Bridge collapse in Gujarat’s Vadodara district

At least ten people were killed after a portion of the Gambhira Bridge in Padra taluka of Gujarat’s Vadodara district collapsed on Wednesday morning.

Five to six vehicles — including two trucks and two vans — plunged into the Mahisagar River after a slab of the Gambhira bridge, located on the river which connects central Gujarat and Saurashtra regions of the State, collapsed, Gujarat’s Health Minister Rushikesh Patel said, adding six of them have been rescued so far.
