Intolerance Again : Minorities protest against increasing instance of hate-crime!

Despite the authorities denied the permission for protest program of Muslims against Cow-Vigilantism and mob killings happening all across country, a huge number of people today reached Jantar Mantar to register their protest.
Accusing the Modi government of stroking anti-Muslim violence across the country, one of the protestors said, “We had earlier secured permission from the authorities to hold a program to protest the communal and divisive politics prevailing across the country, but at the last minute, we were told that permission has been revoked.”
Why are we Muslims barred to even protest, he asks. The protest program was scheduled today at Jantar Mantar in which Muslims from across the country were to participate.
“We feel insecure inside our own home, inside our own country,” another protester says. “The communal forces are taking over this country and it is unfortunate that government, rather than preventing incidents of communal violence are fanning it. It seems like government has found a way to encourage fringe elements in a subtle way,” he rues.
A large number of Muslim population from Delhi and neighbouring states gathered at Jantar Mantar to register the protest. “Nobody has a right to stop us from protesting, we will continue coming over and protesting unless government takes a stand against those who spread communal hatered.”
