Auto driver held for rape attempt

GURGAON: A 25-year-old auto driver Anjur Ali, a resident of Nathupur village, for attempting to rape a woman from Nepal Monday afternoon. The victim is a 20-year-old woman and a resident of Munirka in New Delhi. She took an auto from DLF phase-V in the afternoon to go to Vasant Kunj. But after riding for a few kilometers, the driver took a detour towards Faridabad road which is normally deserted and being new to the city, the woman didn’t get suspicious about the intention of driver Anjur, who hails from West Bengal.
