Auto Expo 2014: Ford to unveil new compact car concept on Monday

Ford on Monday will showcase a global compact concept car, highlighting a design direction that could spearhead the company’s efforts to tap growing demand for small cars in India and other emerging markets. The car will be on showcase at Auto Expo 2014, which will be held between February 6-11.

The concept car will provide a glimpse into the kind of vehicle that Ford expects to play an important role in the Asia Pacific region, set to account for nearly a third of the company’s global sales volume by mid-decade, it said.
