Avni Tripathi of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School wins National Table Tennis Championship
10th June 2022, Ghaziabad, Avni Tripathi, a student of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad, bagged 1st All India National Rank in the U-15 Sub-Junior Category tournament held at Indore from May 26 to June 1, 2022.
Combining patience and persistence, Avni Tripathi prevailed 4-2 over Sayanika Maji of Delhi to win gold and lift the Under-15 Youth Girls trophy in the 83rd Cadet & Sub-Junior Nationals at Abhay Prashal, Indore.
After clinching the exceptional laurel, Avni Tripathi, a VIII grader, was welcomed back at her school by the Director Principal Shalini Nambiar and the entire school staff with great aplomb and red carpet felicitations. Ms. Nambiar congratulated Avni on her prodigious achievement and encouraged her to pursue her dream of winning an Olympic Medal.
In a conversation with the Director Principal, Avni gave credit to her coach and her elder sister Vidushi Tripathi, also a National Player in Table Tennis for her success at the national level. The proud parents could not contain their joy on seeing both their daughters performing exceptionally well at the All India Level.
Mr. Durgadutt Tripathi, father of Avni, explicitly said that parents must allow their children to follow their dreams and support them in all their endeavours.
