Ayodhya Case in Supreme Court: VHP’s Alok Kumar Reacts after hearing deferred to Jan 10

New Delhi (04/01/2019) : Soon after Supreme Court on Friday ruled out that a new bench of judges will take a call on the future course of hearing on the sensitive Ayodhya title suit, reactions started floating in from all corners of the political horizons.

Today, Ten News had a word with the Working President of Vishva Hindu Parishad : Advocate Alok Kumar.

Supreme Court adjourned the hearing on Ayodhya Dispute to 10th of January. Regarding this issue Alok Kumar said,

“Justice Deepak Mishra, who was heading the previous bench, retired on 2nd of October. The appropriate bench could have been constituted before the hearing of 29th October also which could have saved the time period between 2nd of October to 10th of January.”

Commenting on the current situation of Top Court regarding the Ram Mandir Dispute he said,



“It is now to be seen that how the new bench responses to the early hearings of this dispute.
However, VHP is up with the view that the way to the construction of Ram Temple is to be started with a proper parliamentary judgement. We will again write to the Prime Minister so as to initiate the construction as soon as possible.”

When asked by Ten News about his opinion regarding BJP’s promise of starting the construction within 2 months he reacted :
“I don’t know about any such promise made by the Central Government but if they did, they should follow their promises.”
