New Delhi (India), 17th June 2023: Patanjali Group is targeting a 1 lakh crore revenue in the next five years as it increases its reach to all segments of consumers with various services. The optimism was shared by Baba Ramdev via a Press Conference on Friday.

Patanjali Foods (formerly Ruchi Soya) will also play an important role in reaching the milestone, having set a target of 45,000-50,000 crore in turnover over the next five years.
Patanjali Foods announced a new line of nutraceuticals, health biscuits, Nutrela millet-based cereals, and dry fruits as part of their portfolio premiumisation plan.

Ramdev while addressing a press conference said, “It is our vision to take the turnover of Patanjali Group to ₹1 lakh crore in next 5 years and that of Patanjali Foods, which is our listed company to up to ₹50,000 crore.”

The Yoga Guru and Business Conglomerate further said, “Many people believed Baba was being overconfident two decades ago when I declared we would make Patanjali’s turnover 10,000 crore. When I mentioned Patanjali’s goal of achieving a 20,000 crore turnover and competing with companies like Unilever, some people advised us to stay within our means. Today, I can happily state that the Patanjali group’s revenue has surpassed the 45,000 crore mark.”

According to Ramdev, the firm has been supplying a variety of affordable items for the public through Patanjali Ayurved, and it is now attempting to touch the “emerging upper-middle class” through the premium products offered by Patanjali Foods.

On a worldwide scale, he stated that Patanjali is on its way to becoming a top firm in the FMCG industry, having a reach of over 200 crore people in 200 countries.
