‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ zooms into the 100 crore club, becomes the fastest Salman Khan film to do so

Salman Khan is back this Eid and with a bang. But unlike most his other releases,Bajrangi Bhaijaan shows his Being Human side over his Dabangg debonair attitude. And that has worked wonders for the superstar. With critics and audiences’ reception alike, a positive word of mouth has ensued. The film has benefited from the same and has raked in around Rs 102 crore in its opening weekend itself.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan brings back the hit jodisof Salman Khan-Kabir Khan (after Ek Tha Tiger), Salman Khan-Kareena Kapoor (afterBodyguard) and Salman Khan-Nawazuddin Siddiqui (after Kick). The film had collected in the range of Rs 27.25 crore on its opening day and added around Rs 36.50 crore on second day, taking its two day total to a whopping Rs 63.75 crore. On Sunday, the film saw more growth at the ticket counters and netted Rs 38.75 crore at the box office. This is by far the highest single day collections for any Salman Khan film. Also, this is the fastest Salman starrer to enter the 100 crore club.
