Bank officer, son critically hurt in #Vaishali crash

Ghaziabad: A 40-year-old bank employee and his minor son were critically injured after a chartered bus hit their scooterette in Vaishali Sector 6 on Wednesday night. The two were rushed to a nearby private hospital. A case was yet to be registered at the time this report was being filed.The accident took place around 8:30pm when Sanjeev Tiwari and his son Ashutosh (15) were on way to market from their house in Sector 6.According to eyewitnesses, a yellow-coloured bus rammed the scooterette as soon as the two left their apartment’s basement parking and hit the main road.Darshan Chamoli, who lives in a nearby house, said, “My son, who was playing downstairs, called me immediately after the accident.

The injured father and son were rushed to the nearest private hospital. The bus driver, however, fled after the accident.” Chamoli is president of Sector 6 RWA.Tiwari’s family members could not be reached for comments. However, local residents said Tiwari and his family had moved into the Sector 6 house only three days ago.
