New Delhi (09th February 2025): India is set to host one of its most anticipated global textile events, Bharat Tex 2025 – Global Textile Expo, a grand platform celebrating the country’s diverse textile and handicraft traditions. This mega event will be held at two premier venues—India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, from February 12 to 15, 2025, and Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from February 14 to 17, 2025—bringing together industry leaders, artisans, manufacturers, and buyers from across the globe.
Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Director, Bharat Tex Trade Federation and Chairman of India Expo Centre & Mart Limited, Greater Noida, expressed his excitement about the event, emphasizing its significance for India’s textile sector, especially small and medium enterprises (SMEs). He highlighted the need for government and promotional agency support to enhance market access for these businesses. According to him, Bharat Tex 2025 will serve as a comprehensive platform, covering the entire textile value chain—from fiber and yarn to fashion textiles, apparel, home textiles, and handicrafts. He also noted that the event will be organized at two prestigious international venues: Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi and India Expo Centre and Mart, Greater Noida.
At Bharat Mandapam, visitors will experience a complete showcase of the textile value chain, while the India Expo Centre and Mart will focus on textile machinery, chemicals, allied industries, and handicraft products. The event will attract a diverse audience, including fashion designers, manufacturers, and business professionals from the B2B segment. Dr. Kumar further encouraged industry stakeholders to visit Bharat Tex 2025 where they can explore the latest innovations and trends in the textile sector.
Bharat Tex 2025 offers a dual experience for visitors. The India Expo Mart edition (February 12-15) will be open to the general public, allowing textile enthusiasts, collectors, and shoppers to explore and purchase exquisite handmade products. Meanwhile, the Bharat Mandapam edition (February 14-17) will focus on B2B interactions, facilitating trade discussions, networking, and collaborations among global buyers, manufacturers, and exporters.
