Bharat Tex 2025 will showcase the entire Textile Value Chain, says Vijay Agarwal, Vice Chairman, TEXPROCIL

New Delhi (29 August 2024): Bharat Tex 2025, scheduled for February 14-17, 2025, is gearing up to be a landmark event for the global textile industry. A Steering Committee meeting held on August 28, 2024, reviewed the preparations for the major expo.

During the meeting, Ten News spoke with Vijay Agarwal, Vice Chairman of TEXPROCIL, who shared insights into the expo’s vision. “Bharat Tex 2025 will showcase an extensive range of products and talents from across India. This event is not only aimed at promoting exports but also at highlighting our domestic market. We’re covering the entire textile value chain—from cotton and fiber to high fashion—giving exposure to all these talents,” Agarwal said.

The fair is set to be the largest of its kind globally, offering a comprehensive view of India’s textile strengths. Agarwal emphasized that sustainability will be a key focus, with the industry increasingly adopting ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices.

“India has long been a textile hub, and Bharat Tex 2025 will further enhance this reputation,” Agarwal noted. The expo is expected to attract significant attention from both international and domestic buyers, gradually increasing India’s visibility and influence in the global textile market.
